Monthly Meetings: 

The Alameda County Beekeepers Association regularly meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the Rotary Nature Center at Lake Merritt. The address is 600 Bellevue Ave. Oakland.  

Some of our recent past meetings have included Dr. Eric Mussen of UC Davis, Stephen Petersen, an Alaskan beekeeper and a bee consultant in Cambodia, speaking about Asian bees and their relation to the environment, and Laurie Adams  from  North American Pollinator Protection Campaign.

We recently established an online resource for the membership and others, the Yahoo Group “AlamedaBeekeepers,” where members can post questions and answers, discuss beekeeeping-related issues, or announce events of interest to the club membership.  It’s lively and convenient, so we would invite you to join.
