I have verified the gauge. heated up a pot of water, pulled the temp sensor and dropped it in and had a separate cooking thermometer in the water. the gauge and the thermometer showed the same temp… I removed the plastic fan and have a 12″ electric pusher fan setup with a thermostatically controller switch set to run at 190 degrees. first race is Saturday Feb. 11, 2012. we’ll see what happens…

Have you vierfeid the temperature with a different gauge? Seems hard to believe that the car is running that cool… Especially when you are running the car hard.
