American Iron Javelin – first parts purchase!

ok, it’s real now… I bought the first part for the American Iron Javelin race car project. and it was a big (read expensive) piece. it’s a killer IFS system for AMC’s that’s just come out. It’s built by Al Kamhi at Control Freak suspensions. Should be here in 4 to 6 weeks. This is a direct bolt-in system that replaces the stock engine crossmember, uppper/lower control arms, shocks, springs AND includes rack ‘n pinion steering so you can ditch the heavy stock steering box. I’ll pair it with a Wilwood 13″ rotor and 4 piston caliper brake setup. Here’s a couple of pics…
