committing to safety… AI Javelin build update.

I’ve decided to not cheap out on safety gear so the American Iron Javelin is getting a fuel cell. The rules state that you can run a stock fuel tank. I originally thought about going that route but decided in the long run that I wanted to build a “real” and safe car and that means springing for the fuel cell, good seat, belts and fire system.

So I ordered a Fuel Safe Enduro 22-gallon cell today. I don’t need 22 gallons for the regular American Iron races, which are 30 minutes BUT I want the option of running some of the endurance races they have. So 22 gallons was the way to go. Here’s what I ordered…
