Engine mock up… NASA American Iron Javelin update

Dropped the motor in place to check clearances. Everything looks good. Headers fit and oil pan clears the k-member and steering rack. I’m going to have fun getting the steering around the headers but I was kind of expecting that… ordered a bunch of stuff yesterday (starter, fuel pump, water pump, etc). The valve covers in this shot are stock and aren’t the ones I’m going to be running. Speed-o-motive is modifying a set of Edelbrock covers with a breather setup. Hopefully they’ll be here early next week. I need to pull the motor back out and mock up the bellhousing and trans. Assuming everything looks like it’s going to work I’ll then slam the engine back in for good!
