My next (and last) track day for the year will be Nov. 1st with NCRC. Now that I’ve done 6 track days on my Kumho’s I’ve decided I really don’t want to drive the 2 1/2 hrs each way on these tires. I’ve been running fast and loose all year but I’m starting to get paranoid about getting a flat at the track and being stranded. So, I pulled the rear seat and will bring my track tires to the track this way. I’ll drive down on my Cragar’s and Nitto’s. Of course this means I’m going to have to bring a jack and that I’ll have less room for all my other gear. Oh well… I’m going to try to fab up an aluminum block off plate to separate the trunk from the interior. we’ll see how that goes. Laguna is 28 days away!
