The heart of the matter… NASA American Iron Javelin update.
I finally pulled the trigger on the motor for this car. Did a bit a research and decided to have Speed-O-Motive down in the L.A. area build it. George was really helpful and put together a nice bid for me. They are shooting for around 450HP at the crank and we’ll tune up/down from there once I know my final weight. They said it’ll take 8 weeks so I won’t get the motor until the end of January. Can’t wait!
What kind of top end are you going with? Edelbrock aluminum heads? Torker intake? Also curious to know what cam – flat tappet (solid or hyd) or roller (solid or hyd).
Thanks,
Scott
